Dolce Agogia extra virgin olive oil, certified with Slow Food presidium. This oil is made exclusively with the hand-picked fruits of centuries-old native trees of the shores of Lake Trasimeno. The pressing is rigorously cold.
A campaign that produced a monovarietal oil with varied but perfectly integrated flavors, particularly rich in beneficial properties such as polyphenols which contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress ( a daily intake of 20g is enough) and vitamin E which acts as a cellular antioxidant. In general, it has been shown that replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet reduces blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease.
The bottle, handcrafted and numbered in a limited edition of 50 pieces, officially seals the uniqueness and high value of this oil.
Taste notes . Pine nut with balsamic notes of resin, hints of almond, wild thistle, wild herbs. Bitter and silky, it envelops the palate in a tantalizing and varied gustatory dynamic.
The project. We have chosen to take care of this precious production together with passionate young Umbrians, like us. United to tell the richness and quality of a territory in a single product.
Endiadi , artisan of great talent and deeply tied to the essence of the material, signs the artisan bottles of this edition limited. A series numbered from 1 to 50, in two color variants inspired by the land and the lake. Each bottle is hand crafted and painted. Carolina Cruciani , dancer performer of the Kataklò company, lends her face and grace to the dance among the olive trees by the lake, to invoke the energy of the place present in every drop of Dolce Agogia.
The direction of Jacopo Sani (Studio T&RB) perfectly tells, between photos and videos, the intentions and values of the project.
Monocultivar Dolce Agogia . The Dolce Agogia monocultivar gives the privilege of savoring a great extra virgin olive oil steeped in historical values, legacy of the Etruscans who already used the fruits of this tree during their transit on this land.
