OIL EVO
The extra virgin olive oil contained in this precious bottle of art is itself a masterpiece of its kind. A slow and accurate extraction of the best olives of the vintage, carefully chosen by hand during the harvest according to the level of ripening and cold pressed from time to time. A select blend of the four native varieties of our land: Moraiolo, Leccino, Dolce Agogia and Frantoio. A story of territory in the expression of absolute excellence.
CERAMIC
The production process begins with the careful selection of raw materials: precious clays, which, once masted with skill, will give life to porcelain stoneware.
After the shaping phase at the lathe, each piece is subjected to a meticulous nishing and a careful drying. The bottles are then skillfully enamelled inside with a white enamel and then subjected to a sprinkling process with coloured glazes.
The bottles are then glazed inside. The baked bottles are re-baked to 1260 C.The enamel melts together with the clay,
vitri cation the surface and creating a solid and indivisible body. Waterproof and resistant to the action of acids, a durable and high quality solution.
This coloured collection is signed by an international ceramic artist and experimental researcher. Each bottle is the result of his unique vision, a harmonious synthesis of tradition and modernity. Extraordinary aesthetics combine with functionality, to best preserve the extra virgin olive oil. These bottles are not just containers, but real treasure chests that enhance
the value of the product they guard.
THE ARTIST
Nicola Boccini, eclectic Umbrian artist, today one of the most experimental technologists of ceramics. Research is always present in his works, the various "mixes" between metals and earth, glazes and natural oxides make the works unique and sometimes unrepeatable. His art is divided between ceramics, videos, performances, oil on canvas and light installations. For him, ceramics are seen as ultra-contemporary material and with it he creates performances, happenings, meetings and workshops around the world. He collaborates with experimentation centers, foreign art schools, internationally renowned designers and architects.
